Annual Turkey Bowl to be held by music artist, songwriter, entrepreneur Reem of 0017th

The New Orleans, Louisiana native is holding the annual Turkey Bowl football game along with a coat and jacket drive from 10 am to 1 pm on Thanksgiving Day. All clothing donations will be distributed to the needy in the Greater New Orleans area. Canned goods will also be accepted and will be donated to the Greater New Orleans Second Harvest Food Bank.

This year as in years past, the annual Turkey Bowl football game will be held in Hollygrove’s Conrad Park located at 3400 Hamilton Street, New Orleans. The Turkey Bowl will feature former star athletes, celebrities and a few newcomers, all getting together with the purpose of having a good time while performing good works in the community. Reem, the found of 0017th, along with many other positive figures in the community are known for coming together to sponsor various charity events throughout the year. From Easter giveaways, to feeding the homeless, to providing children with necessary educational items at their annual Back to School Giveaway, to the Turkey Bowl and other annual giveaways, 0017th strives to be an integral part of giving back to the Greater New Orleans area. Each year, 0017th undertakes additional charity campaigns, with this year being no different.

Thanksgiving 2018, 0017th is joined by entertainment powerhouse Jet Life, MIKODreamz PR, Genie Marketing Services, Mindless Dope, The Heat Magazine, and 504Diffusion, as well as legendary musical acts including JT the Bigga Figga, Skip of UTP and others. 0017th realizes the importance of assisting those who are less fortunate and given the time of year the Turkey Bowl is being held, they decided to incorporate a coat and jacket drive. They are asking attendees to bring new or gently used coats and jackets for donation on Thanksgiving Day or that those interested to drop off donations at Phase III Body Shop located at 8401 Olive Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. Phase III Body Shop is a fixture in Hollygrove and the location of the world famous Lil Wayne/Hollygrove mural featured in numerous visuals, most notably the “In My Feelings” video from one of rap’s hottest acts, Drake. Hollygrove has long been considered the holy Mecca of music and athletic gilt, having birthed many a superstar, including Lil Wayne himself and the 0017th Movement.

New Orleans MVP JAYARSON has linked up with one of the most legendary of that era, Hollygrove’s (Uptown New Orleans) own Skip of UTP and Ghettoslave Records fame. Words cannot describe the loss felt following the death of our friend and client, BTY YoungN. On April 29, 2017, he was tragically taken from us as a result of jealousy in an unthinkable act. Leaving behind his infant son, mother and a host of friends and family, YoungN is missed. But even though they took his physical being, they could never take his soul – one full of vibrant energy and love. We miss him so much, but are happy to announce the release of the first of many projects – an album entitled “The Best of BTY YoungN“.

Ever since his untimely demise, his fans (new and old alike) have been inquiring about when they can expect a new project to drop. It just made its debut on all digital platforms, including major digital retail and streaming outlets such as iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and even JPay. His mother recently released the new project, to wide acclaim.

“The Best of BTY YoungN” is a 12-track album that includes the tribute song “Forever King Young (featuring Teezy Baby, Jay Jones, GreatWhite Stylez, and Hollygrove Keem), along with “Gang Gang” (from YoungN, Jay Jones and Hollygrove Keem) and ten other originals.

At the time of his death, BTY YoungN was set to start a revolution among his musical peers, with his goal of helping solidify New Orleans’ position at the top of the charts about to be realized. In the months following his death, it became clear that he had been destined for superstardom. His memory continues to live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved his music and him.

Though freshman standout Paxquiao may just be beginning his career in the music scene, he is exhibiting his ability to withstand pressure.

Paxquiao’s new Ice Starr produced single “Ride 2 Getha” features Derek De’Shon and proves he is ready to tackle the Atlanta nightclub music scene. The song depicts a particularly difficult time Paxquiao and one of his closest friends endured in their past. More importantly, it resonates with his fans and is a song to which any diehard friend can relate. It’s the new ride or die anthem. It is the first single from Paxquiao’s upcoming album, “Dodgin the Raindrops”.
