Longtime entertainment guru Isaac “Ike” Nelson recently began working with Swirl Films as its newest Executive. In his new role, Mr. Nelson will be seeking scripts and content from independent filmmakers and creators. 

This most recent addition to Mr. Nelson’s already impressive resume comes after he has forged a name for himself and his brand, Nelson Empire, throughout the entertainment world. Mr. Nelson is a husband and father of five, as well as an Executive who has worked with other impressive brands, such as Fee Banks, Mousa Hamdan and Black Balloon Global, just to name a few. Mr. Nelson collaborated with Fee Banks and the Good Money Global imprint in helping to advance Kevin Gates’ career on a global level. He is also responsible for bringing NBA Youngboy to Banks which turned out to be one of the most magnificent discoveries in modern urban music. He has also worked with Curren$y, Mousa and Jet Life Recordings. Mr Nelson also has a penchant for orchestrating epic events, in addition to his other work. In addition, he handled management for Ace B-47, Calliope Bub, Ray Vicks, Female Mula, HD4President, Kyngg, AudioHittaz, Simply TeeLee (NBA Youngboy’s sister), and countless other Hip Hop greats. 

In addition to his fruitful career in music, Mr. Nelson has produced films and television shows, including Superish, Pretty Kitty Cartel and Talk With Tara Lynn. He is often sought out for his knowledge and advice concerning the film industry.  

Mr. Nelson’s new position with Swirl Films is expected to be a long and lucrative career move for this already established Executive. Among other projects, Swirl Films is set to release the Freaknik Documentary releasing March 21st on Hulu. The company is also distributing “The Apartments” starring T.I., Tokyo Vanity, and other well-known industry names.
