New Orleans artist Black Troy releases “Earned My Stripes”

One of New Orleans’ best kept secret is rapper Black Troy. This Uptown Third Ward lyricist is definitely one who won’t fade away any time soon. His most recent offering, “Earned My Stripes”, is an unforgettable multi-track project that is definitely one of the best to come out of the Crescent City in quite some time.

While Black Troy has made quite a splash in the Down South music scene via his R33ltalk 3nt imprint, if you ask him of his greatest accomplishment, he will likely tell you it is being a proud father of seven boys and one girl. He works hard to make sure his children are successful in life, with him instilling in them great values. They also motivate Black Troy and that enables him to pursue his dreams without end, with hopes they will follow suit. You’d be hard pressed to find such an impressive entertainer as Black Troy. He spends a large majority of his time supporting his sons’ football careers, as well as mentoring youth and motivational speaking.

JAYARSON is one of the most hard-working rappers of our time. And he is known for consistently dropping projects. His new EP entitled “Hold Us Down” just dropped to wide acclaim. The EP may only offer 6 tracks, but it is a masterpiece in and of itself. He is constantly putting in work and is one of the most sought after featured artists in the South. You can’t write the story of modern Down South rap without including JAYARSON. He is undeniably an icon.

ATL artist Steelo Steezy is making huge moves

Georgia native Steelo Steezy is quite an accomplished music artist and entrepreneur. He was born in Douglasville, Georgia and raised in the music mecca Atlanta. He began his music career in 2015 and at the young age of 21, he was signed to Freebandz by Future himself. Since the age of 7, it was written in stone that Steelo Steezy would become a success. Through his vision, dreams and hard work, Steezy is destined to become one of the most influential artists of his generation.

His most recent offering is a video to his single, Cartier Jeans. The song gained a lot of traction once released. Cartier Jeans are a luxury item made of an expensive and exclusive fabric, so it’s only right the brand is represented by an artist of Steezy’s caliber.  As you listen to this track, you will hear a new sound from Steezy which expresses his Rock & Roll side mixed with a raspy rapping flow.

Atlanta native J.Pizzle is making waves in the entertainment industry

Atlanta native J.Pizzle (a/k/a “The Real J.Hefner”) is known for releasing music consistently on Valentine’s Day. J.Hefner Volumes 1 and 2 both include a dead rose symbolizing his stance on the holiday. 

J.Pizzle continued with that theme this year, releasing J.Hefner 3 and the visuals for “On Go” featuring reality show star Miami Tip and other Tier 1 Models. The video was shot by Virtuoso PRoductions. While J.Pizzle did not appear in the video, he made certain all the beautiful women made it very unique. J.Pizzle leveled up and froze everything with his new release, “Frozen”.

(NEW MUSIC) Jacob Waddy – “2am”

Jacob Waddy recently signed with Auto Play Music to release the highly buzzworthy single “2am” in July. Now, he’s back with booze, gambling, and other late-night activities in the uncut but censored video directed by Cam Clay. 

The video starts in one of Atlanta’s most prominent nightlife districts, Edgewood, and ends in a posh hotel Downtown. The song’s catchy hook, eclectic vibe, and creative video proves that Jacob Waddy is one of Atlanta’s rising stars.
