(NEW MUSIC) Nitro the Flash – “Nitrogenesis” (Album)

A lot of new urban music is mundane and at some point, begins to sound all the same. That’s where Nitro the Flash comes in, meaning he has hit the scene to bring back originality and a welcomed brand new sound. 

Nitro the Flash is a super talented entertainer with a fascinating imagination. His music incorporates lyrical greatness laced over bass laden eclectic electronic tracks. After releasing a slew of projects, Nitro the Flash’s “Nitrogenesis” album is the definitive project to showcase his talent. The debut single, “Who Am I”, reveals Nitro the Flash’s ingenuity and inventiveness and provides insight into his artistry. Though it is only one of ten tracks on the project, it makes quite a bold statement. It is sure to be a fan favorite.

Originally from Maine, Nitro the Flash made New Orleans his home from age 13 through early adulthood. The city definitely had an effect on his art. His unique ability to create something so different and amazing is what makes him stand out among entertainment giants. He is currently working on his music, along with acting and writing. Nitro is currently working toward his goals that include headlining Coachella and taking home an Oscar, both lofty but achievable goals for an entertainer of his caliber. Nitro the Flash is currently accepting bookings and is preparing for a future tour and press run.

New Orleans Native DVNTAE releases “Clarity”

In this record, DVNTAE dwells into a deeper perspective regarding the subject of love and what it feels like when relationships may not turn out exactly as intended. 

Love is a game and we all play to win, while some lose. People grow apart while in certain situations. Things happen that may not be meant to be understood and that is where Clarity needs to be involved. DVNTAE does nothing short of delivering a humble sense of vulnerability, which is what we all can learn from and connect to. 

This record is absolutely ear-gasmic and  is sure to captivate the listener in a melodic ambiance to set the tone of relatability to the listener and someone special.

Chloe DeQue drops “Wake Up Call” (Video x Single)

There is probably nothing that will wake up the entertainment industry more quickly than a beautiful young female who not only looks the part, but also sounds it. Meet Chloe DeQue, a 17 year old femcee hailing from the cultural mecca known as New Orleans. 

Chloe DeQue just dropped her first video, “Wake Up Call”, and it is already getting rave reviews. She isn’t a gimmick rapper – she’s a microphone slayer. Her lyrics are impressive, her vocabulary is broad and her delivery is super quick. Chloe just might be what the industry has been lacking. When asked how she wants to be remembered, she just says, “As a legend.” It’s an almost certainty that will come true.  

The visuals to “Wake Up Call” are available on YouTube. The single is available for download and streaming on all digital platforms. The song is produced by legendary trumpeter/Producer Shamarr Allen.

The evolution of music has come full circle introducing the new generation to the original creators of Hip Hop. Utilizing hits formulated in the 90’s to cultivate what seems new to many today, brings memories to those who were there forcing us to recognize and give respect to the people who helped pave the way – those like Label NYC.

Sharing the same birthplace as Hip Hip, New York City became the stomping grounds for the young influential mind of Label NYC. Being inspired by local artists from labels such as Bad Boy, Roc a Fella, Dipset and artists like the Fugees, Label NYC created the magic of his music by mixing the roots of Hip Hop with the cultural island sounds of Haiti. His musical successes led him to opening performances for Rick Ross and Lupe Fiasco. Label has also had collaborations with Hitmaka

Now with a new project at hand we can only sit back and anxiously wait to see what new innovations Label NYC will surprise us with next. He strives for greatness and you can bet he will exhibit just that!

You’d be hard pressed to find a lyricist more experienced or more dope than Ninth Ward original Koan Kenpachi. Born and raised in New Orleans, Koan has become a staple in rap music. 

He recently dropped “Weirdo”, the first single off his upcoming EP “Supremium”. If you’ve ever heard Koan, then you know the power behind his music. His lyrics are quite impressive and his delivery is impeccable.

Fre$h is back with his first single/visual, “Yea Yeah” off his upcoming album #NothingChangedButTheName which drops December 3rd. 

“When I thought about the video for this song I was instantly upset that my Porsche got totaled and wouldn’t be able to get a cameo. I reached out to my boy, Matt Leblanc, who owns a dealership with a bunch of old school Porsche’s and he allowed me to capture scenes there. I came up with the idea to stage a robbery using the concept from the movie “Point Break” wearing ex-president masks and to keep it fun we went with nerf guns instead of actual ones. With this being one of my favorites off the album and the first single it has to set the tone of what’s to be expected. #NothingChangedButTheName”-Fre$h

New Orleans artist Black Troy releases “Earned My Stripes”

One of New Orleans’ best kept secret is rapper Black Troy. This Uptown Third Ward lyricist is definitely one who won’t fade away any time soon. His most recent offering, “Earned My Stripes”, is an unforgettable multi-track project that is definitely one of the best to come out of the Crescent City in quite some time.

While Black Troy has made quite a splash in the Down South music scene via his R33ltalk 3nt imprint, if you ask him of his greatest accomplishment, he will likely tell you it is being a proud father of seven boys and one girl. He works hard to make sure his children are successful in life, with him instilling in them great values. They also motivate Black Troy and that enables him to pursue his dreams without end, with hopes they will follow suit. You’d be hard pressed to find such an impressive entertainer as Black Troy. He spends a large majority of his time supporting his sons’ football careers, as well as mentoring youth and motivational speaking.

Georgia native Steelo Steezy is quite an accomplished music artist and entrepreneur. He was born in Douglasville, Georgia and raised in the music mecca Atlanta. He began his music career in 2015 and at the young age of 21, he was signed to Freebandz by Future himself. Since the age of 7, it was written in stone that Steelo Steezy would become a success. Through his vision, dreams and hard work, Steezy is destined to become one of the most influential artists of his generation.

His most recent offering is a video to his single, Cartier Jeans. The song gained a lot of traction once released.
