New Orleans Rap star on the rise, JAYARSON, teams up with Uptown New Orleans veteran producer KMorGOLD and New Orleans hip hop royalty, Jakk Jo, the Prince son of the Queen of Southern Rap, Mia X. The three team up on KMorGOLD’s tribute instrumental which mixes up sounds of the Big Tymers’ “Get Your Roll On” and the Pharrell track “Frontin”. The video is available on YouTube, with the single available for purchase/streaming on all major digital platforms.

JAYARSON’s nostalgic verse graciously uses “Get Your Roll On” to pay homage to a solid New Orleans classic. Jakk Jo hypes the track with a classic New Orleans chant like “Come On, Come On, Come On”. They team up with Dope Media to create a real picture of daily New Orleans party life. It is a light hearted visual that is really needed at this time!

The Heat Magazine covers Winston & his new “Coke” video

Entrepreneurship and music often go hand in hand. Combine those two with a solid work ethic and you have a recipe for success.

Meet Winston – an artist hailing from New Orleans East. Winston has found way to combine his hard-working attitude with his musical career. And he has definitely perfected the recipe.

Winston also has a new video out entitled “Coke”. Make sure you check it out!

We recently caught up with Winston and here’s what he had to say:

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Tell us a little about yourself.

WINSTON: My name is Winston; I’m from the Eastside of New Orleans. My motto is “I want my f**** money!”

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Growing up, what and who influenced you musically?

WINSTON: Watching my big cousins rap – when I was younger, I wanted to be like them. My musical influences include the late great Soulja Slim, my late brother Bobby and Kevin Gates.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Who’d you look up to as a youngster?

WINSTON: My Uncle Cliff and my Uncle New York because they was gangstaz.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What can your fans look forward to you releasing?

WINSTON: I have my debut mixtape “AskBoutMe” and I plan to follow-up with the Don Solomon project.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What’s in your future?

WINSTON: Only God knows the future. Long as I’m living, I’m gonna be grinding.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: What’s your favorite kind of music?

WINSTON: I love all music. It don’t matter if it’s Pop, R&B, Rap, Country – long as it sounds good and tells a fire story.

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: If you had a piece of advice for a younger Winston, what would it be?

WINSTON: “Stay Focused.”

THE HEAT MAGAZINE: Where do you see your career in the next 2, 5 and 10 years?

WINSTON: I’ll be able to honestly say, I’m one of the biggest in the game.

Keem is well-known in entertainment circles and has long been a standout among his musical peers. Hailing from the infamous Hollygrove neighborhood, Hollygrove Keem has built his brand from the ground up over the past couple of years, having toured the nation with 0017th and worked with the likes of Fetty Wop, the late great BTY YoungN, Jay Jones, Reem, Punn Da Pusha, and more. He has endured more than his share of pain over the past couple of years, but that only served to push him harder.
