Though he may be gone in physical form, you’d never know it to hear his family, friends and fans tell it. It’s been a long time coming, but BTY YoungN fans can finally stream and download one of his masterpieces, “Feed Up”.
The 11-track project is now available everywhere music is sold or streamed, including Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, and all other major digital platforms. BTY YoungN fans have been asking for the release and Rydamuzik Records, along with the estate of the late great entertainer, obliged. It contains favorites such as “D-Boy”, “When I Was”, “Can Somebody Tell Me”, and more. New music is on its way and should be hitting streaming platforms soon.
For as much as we all miss BTY YoungN, we can’t imagine what his family must be going through as a result of his loss. We take comfort in the fact knowing he left behind a full catalogue of music and visuals, most especially his “BTY YoungN Mama” video, released on Mother’s Day.
Dope rapper and entertainment personality Hollygrove Keem just dropped the visuals to his new song “Go To Hell”. Its lyrics are deep and thought provoking and provide a little insight into the often times bleak world of young men in New Orleans, Louisiana. The video was filmed and directed by @TheFamousPhil.
It’s our hope that through talented lyricists such as Keem, positive changes will come about and opportunities will increase.
Keem is not only one of the hottest and most recognizable rappers in the country – he’s also quickly becoming one of the brightest and strongest forces in urban music. His raw but colorful storytelling ability enables his listeners to enter his world and really be able to decipher what’s happening from afar – so much so that he has been nominated for awards by the NOLA Music Awards, numerous times in multiple categories.
Keem is one of Hollygrove’s shining superstars. His association with 0017th conmbined with networking capabilities has helped to catapult him to notoriety. He is preparing to drop new music that includes tributes to his late great partner-in-rhyme, BTY YoungN.
Stay tuned for much more from Hollygrove Keem. Follow him:
This past Saturday, we lost a legend – Desmone “BTY YoungN” Jerome, or “Dee” as he was known to close friends and family. His life was taken via a senseless act and we are still attempting to understand the “why” of it all. We may never know. We may not even really need to know. What we are aware of is the fact that someone so special has been needlessly stolen from us and it left a void in our hearts.
For anyone who truly knew BTY YoungN, this is a devastating loss and one we will never forget. We will carry on his legacy though, for his son, mother, sister, and his other family and friends who knew and adored him. He was a special individual. He was unique. He is irreplaceable to both the entertainment world and ours. YoungN left a mark on the hearts of those who knew him best.
We love you YoungN. And you knew this. Please look over us and keep us safe. We are just completely heartbroken right now, but we will find a way soon to make a positive out of this most negative situation. Your spirit and bright ways will live on forever.
Spewing bravado all over the visuals, BTY YoungN shows he’s “Materialistic” in his newest video, that dropped late yesterday.
YoungN has had a banner year, garnering hundreds of thousands of downloads on his other 2016 videos, not to mention the streets are literally flooded with copies of “I Ain’t Sorry For the Wait” and “2nd Feed Up”, his newest mixtape offerings.
2017 is shoring up to be YoungN’s best year ever. He has new merchandise, music, visuals, a tour, and much, much more in the works!
The 2016 NOLA Music Awards winner for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” is a force to be reckoned with – lyrically.
