New Orleans artist Cass of America’s interview on This Is 50
As seen on This Is 50
“Sacrifice” is defined as giving up something prized or precious. Meet Cass of America, one of New Orleans (the 9th Ward to be exact), Louisiana’s most valuable players in the music game. He knows what it means to sacrifice time and effort in order to elevate his entertainment career to the next level. His team and he are confident that all of his struggles will soon translate to stellar success – there’s a carefully crafted plan in the works for this special artist. Triumph is imminent.
Between Cass of America’s grind and hustle, his Bloodbath moniker and his affiliations with some of the most well-known names in the game, particularly the 0017th imprint, it won’t be long before he takes his place among the superstars of his generation.
Having worked with some of the premiere producers in the Deep South, Cass’ music is not only on a whole other level, but it’s unique and something new altogether. To put it bluntly, he doesn’t sound like anybody else. In an age of artists and labels set on copying one another, Cass is a breath of fresh air – one that’s long been needed in Hip Hop – and one that stands apart from many of his counterparts.
